This Privacy Policy explains how OnlyPlans collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our subscription tracking and financial planning service.

Information we collect

  • Account information such as your name, email address, authentication details, and household or invite settings.
  • Financial account and transaction information you choose to connect through Plaid so OnlyPlans can identify recurring charges, subscriptions, spending patterns, alerts, and recommendations.
  • Usage, device, log, and security information needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve product reliability.
  • Billing information processed by our payment providers if you subscribe to a paid plan.

How we use information

  • Provide subscription tracking, analytics, alerts, recommendations, account management, and support.
  • Secure accounts with authentication, authorization, auditing, fraud prevention, and operational monitoring.
  • Improve OnlyPlans by understanding feature usage, diagnosing errors, and prioritizing product work.
  • Meet legal, tax, compliance, dispute, and safety obligations.

Financial data

  • OnlyPlans uses Plaid Link for bank connections. We do not collect or store your bank login credentials.
  • You can disconnect financial institutions from the app. Some transaction records may be retained as needed for security, compliance, backups, and service integrity.

Sharing

  • We share information with service providers that help us operate OnlyPlans, including hosting, storage, email, analytics, monitoring, payment processing, and financial data connectivity.
  • We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the product is used (for example, page views and feature interactions). Logged-in users are identified in analytics by an internal OnlyPlans user ID — not by email or name. Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
  • We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or financing.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

  • You can update account details, manage connected institutions, change notification preferences, and request account or data deletion from the app where available.

Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. We retain information for as long as needed to provide OnlyPlans, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, preserve security, and maintain backups.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as OnlyPlans changes. If updates are material, we will provide notice through the service or another appropriate channel.
